1968 Porsche 911L
Another beautiful classic 911, with the brief from the owner being to restore it properly. The interior was carefully retrimmed in full leather Nappa in red, and combined with seat inserts in classic black, red & white wool pepita. The matching red carpeting was applied in tufted velour, keeping the black heel mat in place. The steering wheel has also be restitched back to factory specs, and the seat again rebuilt with its internals powdercoated and rebuilt with the reclining mechanisms re-plated in chrome. We’re often asked about seatbelts, and these have been remade to Porsche factory specifications. Only an expert eye would pick it, but the dashboard itself was built from scratch and to match a factory piece - with careful attention being made to the vinyl grain. The curves and details are perfectly matched to the original moulding. The quarter trim has also be rebuilt. Finishing details can be found in the basketweave black dash inlay, and the aluminium garnish mould which are specific to short wheelbase 911s.
